2020 COVID-19

Everyone thought that 2020 was going to be a successful year in career, business and life. But not until COVID-19 bound us by chains – some inside our homes, some inside ICUs and some inside graves. The fact that how dreadful this pandemic really is, could only be comprehended by the drastic impact it had over the working class people due to nationwide lockdown. Though the disease has been spreading vigorously and has taken down many thousand lives, people knowing not what to do for their basic necessities are rarely attended.

Around 500 million citizens of India belong to the working class with an average pay of 7$-14$/day. To make the situation worse, lockdown was brought into effect, and most of them either lost their jobs or couldn’t go to work because their employers had shutdown.

Considering the situation, Love and Compassion Trust had the privilege to provide around 1100+ families of the working class people with essential ration kits. The lockdown is presumably going to continue throughout and thousands of such families are expecting that anything providential would happen. An essential kit for a family would cost around 10 USD. If you feel warm and generous, you can provide them with essential groceries so that they’ll survive through this hard time.
